What "OTC" means on Olymp Trade
OTC stands for over-the-counter. On Olymp Trade, OTC pairs are quoted by the platform itself rather than taken straight from the interbank forex market.
Why it matters for you
- They trade every day. The regular forex market closes for the weekend; OTC pairs keep running, so Pinpoint can send signals on Saturdays and Sundays.
- The price you see is the price you trade. Pinpoint reads Olymp Trade's own quotes, so signals are based on the same chart you're looking at.
- They behave differently from the "real" pair. EUR/USD OTC isn't guaranteed to move like EUR/USD on another platform, so always trade the OTC pair named in the signal.
The 16 pairs Pinpoint covers
